Muharram is not for celebration!! November 14, 2012Posted by Yakuza in Uncategorized.
It hurts me a lot, when hearing the sound of firecrackers and a kind of ‘singing’ like nasheed during Muharram. 1st muharram, is like their celebration. Don’t they know what kind of calamities and sadness that the family of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) has faced?
Oh Husain Ya Husain! In order to preserve your grandfather’s religion, you chose to sacrifice tragically in Karbala. Sadly, most of your grandfather’s ummah didn’t notice about it! Oh my dear Prophet, please forgive your ummah for their ignorance of your beloved grandson!
Muharram is for mourning, not to celebrate.
Ashura Day, which is 10th day of Muharram, the day when the sacred head of Imam Husain (peace be upon him) is on the spearhead!
The Jews are fasting on Ashura day, to celebrate the day when the Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) saved his followers by accrosing the sea. Why are you, o Muslims, also fast on that day? Are you imitating the Jews? Is the Prophet Muhammad following Jews by recommended fast on Ashura?
Fasting, is a sign of celebration. The Jews fast on Ashura to celebrate, so are you gonna make a celebration on the day of Ashura?? For the sake of the Prophet and his family, please, don’t celebrate on Muharram.
Is it too much to ask???
